Kara Zor-El is not the hopeful hero her cousin became on Earth. Hardened by loss and raised among the ruins of Krypton’s tragedy, she travels the galaxy with her dog Krypto, drinking, fighting and running from the pain she refuses to face. When she meets young Ruthye Marye Knoll, a determined girl seeking justice, Kara is reluctantly drawn into a dangerous quest for revenge.

Ruthye wants Krem of the Yellow Hills, the man who destroyed her family, to pay for his crimes. Milly Alcock brings fierce vulnerability to Supergirl as the journey carries them across harsh alien worlds, lawless outposts and breathtaking cosmic landscapes. Matthias Schoenaerts’ Krem is more than a simple villain, and every step toward him forces Kara to confront what vengeance truly costs the person who carries it. Their travels reveal broken colonies, frightened families and worlds where a red sun leaves Kara powerless and painfully human.

Along the way they cross paths with Lobo, the outrageous intergalactic bounty hunter played by Jason Momoa, whose arrival turns an already chaotic mission even wilder. Eve Ridley shines as Ruthye, whose courage challenges Kara to become something greater than her anger. The film blends emotional storytelling with big DCU action, strange creatures and heartfelt bonds formed under alien suns. Krypto, loyal and fearless, reminds Kara of the home and love she still carries within her heart.

Inspired by Woman of Tomorrow, Supergirl is a sweeping space adventure about grief, compassion and choosing to protect life even when the universe feels cruel. Kara’s red cape carries a heavier story, but also the promise of a different kind of hero. Her journey proves that strength means feeling everything and still standing up to help.
