Forgotten Island is a DreamWorks adventure about best friends Jo and Raissa, whose ordinary lives are turned upside down when they are stranded on the fantastical Nakali Island. Drawn from the rich world of Filipino mythology, the island is a place of enchanted forests, mischievous spirits and ancient creatures, where the rules of the everyday world soften and every path seems to lead somewhere magical.

As the friends search for a way home, they are guided, and occasionally tricked, by the island’s colourful inhabitants, learning its songs, stories and secrets along the way. Festivals under glowing trees, river journeys and encounters with shape-shifting guardians turn their search into a true coming-of-age quest, testing their courage, their honesty with each other and the promises they made long before they ever reached Nakali’s shores. H.E.R. and Liza Soberano bring warmth and musical sparkle to Jo and Raissa, supported by Dave Franco, Jenny Slate and Lea Salonga, in a journey filled with laughter, wonder and landscapes unlike anything in modern animation.

But Nakali Island keeps its visitors for a reason, and the friends gradually uncover a difficult truth about the price of leaving. The way home may cost them the most precious thing they share, their memories of each other, forcing Jo and Raissa to weigh their old lives against a friendship that has defined them both since childhood in this emotional adventure.

Beautiful, funny and deeply heartfelt, Forgotten Island celebrates Filipino culture, storytelling and the bonds that make us who we are. DreamWorks blends breathtaking island magic with a story about growing up and holding on, creating a family adventure that asks a question every viewer will carry home: what would you give up, and what would you refuse to forget?
