Dacoit: A Love Story (2026) is a Telugu action romance that mixes a burning love story with a gritty tale of revenge. It follows Hari, a hot-headed young man from the dry lands of Rayalaseema whose world revolves around Saraswati, the girl he loves with fierce devotion. Their romance, however, ends in a bitter betrayal, and Hari finds himself behind bars, his heart filled with pain, humiliation and rage.

Years later, Hari walks out of prison a changed and dangerous man — an angry convict with only one purpose left in life: to take revenge on the woman who destroyed him. As he hunts for Saraswati, who has moved on and married another man, his path crosses with powerful enemies and a determined police force. What begins as a personal vendetta soon turns into a violent storm of chases, confrontations and bloodshed that threatens everyone who comes in his way.

But revenge is never as simple as it seems. When Hari finally comes face to face with Saraswati, the anger he has nursed for years collides with a love that never truly died. Old wounds reopen, hidden truths about the past begin to surface, and both are forced to question what really tore them apart that fateful day. The film keeps the audience guessing as loyalties shift, secrets spill out and every confrontation carries an emotional punch.

Anchored by intense performances from Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, with Anurag Kashyap adding real weight in a key role, Dacoit: A Love Story is a brooding and emotional action drama about love, betrayal and the price of vengeance. With its dusty Rayalaseema landscapes, raw action and haunting romance, it shows how the line between loving someone deeply and wanting to destroy them can sometimes be painfully thin.
