The galaxy is changing, and Din Djarin and Grogu now stand on the side of the New Republic. Hired to help hunt down Imperial remnants scattered across the Outer Rim, the Mandalorian takes on missions that pull him into the schemes of ruthless warlords still clinging to the Empire’s power. Beside him, Grogu is growing stronger in the Force and more curious about his destiny.

Colonel Ward of the New Republic, played by Sigourney Weaver, gives the pair their assignments and watches them with both trust and caution. Their work leads them to arenas, warships and frontier worlds, including an encounter with Rotta the Hutt, now a muscular gladiator very different from his infant past. Old allies return, new enemies emerge, and the bond between father figure and foundling deepens. Each mission tests whether a former bounty hunter can truly serve a hopeful new order.

Directed in the spirit of classic space western adventure, the film expands the beloved series onto the big screen with larger battles and heartfelt moments. Pedro Pascal’s quiet strength anchors the story, while Grogu’s charm and growing abilities bring wonder and humour. Snow-covered bases, starfighter chases and blaster showdowns give the journey an epic sweep worthy of Star Wars. Practical creatures, sweeping landscapes and familiar starships make the galaxy feel lived in, dangerous and full of possibility once again.

As Imperial warlords plot to rebuild what was lost, Mando and Grogu must decide what family and duty truly mean. Their choices will shape the fragile peace of the New Republic and test loyalties on every side. The Mandalorian and Grogu is an exciting, emotional adventure about protection, belonging and the road two travellers share among the stars.
