DSP Dev 2 brings the fearless Punjab police officer back into action as a powerful new drug and crime syndicate spreads its roots across the state now. Dev is known for his direct methods and his refusal to bow before politicians, gangsters or corrupt seniors. When young lives begin falling prey to a ruthless network, he takes the fight personally and starts hunting its leaders.

The syndicate is smarter and better connected than any enemy he has faced before, operating through transport routes, local strongmen and influential protectors. Dev and his small team follow a trail of seizures, informers and staged encounters, knowing that one wrong move could end their careers or their lives. At home, his family worries that his duty will once again demand too high a price.

Dev Kharoud returns in full form, delivering the punch dialogues and grounded action that made the first film popular. Shruti Sodhi, Dhanveer Singh, Deedar Gill and Aditi Aarya support the story with emotional and dramatic turns that highlight the human cost behind the uniform and the badge Dev wears with pride.

DSP Dev 2 is a mass action entertainer rooted in Punjab’s ongoing battle against drugs and organised crime. With chase sequences, courtroom tension and a hero who refuses to compromise, it offers a hard-hitting sequel for fans of Punjabi cop dramas. The film also highlights how ordinary families, students and small shopkeepers suffer when drugs enter a neighbourhood and refuse to leave quietly. Dev’s investigation is intercut with emotional moments that show why his mission matters beyond medals and promotions. With strong Punjabi dialogues, rural locations and a clear moral centre, the sequel aims to entertain while also speaking directly to a crisis its audience knows painfully well from real everyday life.
