Mardaani 3 (2026) brings Rani Mukerji back as Shivani Shivaji Roy, the fearless senior police officer who has become one of Hindi cinema’s most iconic screen cops. Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Yash Raj Films, the third film in the Mardaani series sends Shivani into her darkest and most urgent case yet — one that begins with the sudden, unexplained disappearance of young girls.

When dozens of girls vanish within a short span of time across major cities, the trail points towards a vast trafficking network that operates in the shadows, moving its victims quickly and quietly from place to place. The pattern is chilling, the scale is enormous, and the people behind it are powerful and organised enough to stay one step ahead of the law at every turn.

As Shivani follows the clues from city to city, she comes up against a cold and calculating adversary who treats the entire investigation like a game of chess. With time running out for the missing girls, the hunt turns deeply personal, pushing Shivani to risk her career, her safety and everything she stands for in order to bring the victims home and bring the network down.

Hard-hitting and emotional in equal measure, Mardaani 3 continues the franchise’s tradition of socially charged thrillers anchored by Mukerji’s powerhouse performance. It is a tense race-against-time story about courage, justice and a mother’s instinct to protect — and a reminder that some battles can only be won by those who simply refuse to look away.
