Swapped is a body-swap fantasy adventure from Skydance Animation, set in a lush valley where a valiant little woodland creature and a majestic bird are natural enemies. They bicker over territory, tease each other’s weaknesses and cannot imagine a single thing they have in common, until a burst of ancient magic turns their world completely upside down in one dazzling moment.

The two rivals wake up in each other’s bodies, the small creature suddenly sporting wings it cannot control and the proud bird stuck scurrying on tiny legs far below the treetops. Their attempts to hide the swap from family and flock spiral into hilarious chaos, but a growing danger threatening the entire valley soon leaves them with no choice but to work together on a journey to put things right. Every step teaches them something new, from the daily dangers the other quietly faces to the strengths they had mocked, and their reluctant partnership slowly turns into genuine trust, respect and an unlikely, very funny friendship.

Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple sparkle as the mismatched leads, supported by Tracy Morgan, Cedric the Entertainer and Justina Machado, whose comic timing powers everything from slapstick flying lessons to heartfelt campfire confessions. The animation makes the most of the premise, letting audiences soar over waterfalls one moment and burrow through glowing forests the next, seeing the same valley through two very different pairs of eyes.

Warm, witty and genuinely exciting, Swapped uses its magical mix-up to explore empathy in the most entertaining way possible. Walking, crawling and flying in someone else’s skin changes both heroes for good, and families watching will find a joyful adventure about understanding the very people, and creatures, we think we know least.
