The Paradise (2026) is a Telugu action drama set in 1980s Secunderabad, where an entire community lives without identity, citizenship or rights. It follows the Savaari, a marginalised tribal people trapped in an isolated settlement and treated as the personal property of Shikanja Malik, a ruthless feudal lord played by Mohan Babu who rules their lives completely.
Among the Savaari is Jadal, played by Nani, a young man who has learned to survive by keeping his head down inside Malik’s oppressive system. His only priorities are endurance and protecting his own family. But years of humiliation, exploitation and the denial of even basic dignity slowly begin to change something deep inside him.
As the community’s desperation grows, Jadal is reluctantly pushed into a position of leadership. What begins as a simple demand — to exist on paper, to be counted as citizens — grows into open defiance of Malik’s authority and the violent order that sustains it. With Raghav Juyal as the lord’s menacing heir, the struggle turns into a raw rebellion for identity and freedom.
Reuniting Nani with director Srikanth Odela after Dasara, The Paradise is a gritty, large-scale tale of oppression and uprising. Powered by intense performances and a charged period setting, it tells the story of a people the state forgot — and of one man’s transformation from quiet survivor into the voice of his community’s fight to be recognised.
