Krish Kapoor is a talented but short-tempered young musician in Mumbai who is still chasing his big break after a public outburst damaged his reputation. At a music event he meets Vaani Batra, a quiet and thoughtful songwriter who writes lyrics that carry a rare honesty. Impressed by her words, Krish asks her to collaborate with him, and the two begin creating songs together while slowly falling in love.
Their romance grows through studio sessions, small gigs and long conversations about dreams and heartbreak. Vaani, who is still healing from a broken engagement, finds the courage to trust again, while Krish begins to believe that her lyrics and his music can take them both to the top. Just as his career starts moving and their bond deepens, Vaani’s health takes a frightening turn and she begins forgetting recent events.
Vaani is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, a condition that will slowly erase her memories, including her time with Krish. Determined not to lose her, Krish puts his rising career on hold and stands by her side as her memory comes and goes. Music becomes the strongest link between them, because the songs they created together reach places in her mind that ordinary words no longer can.
Saiyaara is an emotional romantic drama about love, memory and the healing power of music. Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda deliver heartfelt performances in this Mohit Suri directorial, which became one of the most loved Hindi films of 2025. With its soulful soundtrack and a moving climax built around a song that brings Vaani’s memories rushing back, the film leaves the audience with tears and hope in equal measure.
