Bibi Rajni (2024) is a Punjabi devotional drama that brings to life the inspiring story of Bibi Rajni, a woman remembered for her unshakable faith. Born into a wealthy and respected family, Rajni is the youngest daughter of a powerful revenue collector who expects complete obedience from his children. Unlike her sisters, Rajni’s heart is filled with devotion, humility, and a deep belief that everything in life happens according to the will of the Almighty.

When Rajni openly expresses her faith and refuses to credit her father’s wealth and status for the family’s good fortune, her angry father decides to punish her pride. He marries her to a poor man suffering from leprosy, believing this will break her spirit and teach her a lesson. Instead of complaining or losing hope, Rajni accepts her fate with grace, serves her husband with love and respect, and continues her life of prayer and kindness, winning the admiration of everyone who watches her patience.

The film follows Rajni’s difficult journey as she carries her husband from place to place in search of relief and peace, facing hunger, humiliation, and hardship along the way. Her story becomes a powerful example of how faith and surrender can transform suffering into strength. Rooted in a tale that has been passed down through generations in Punjab, the film also reflects the spiritual atmosphere of the time and the values of devotion, humility, and trust in divine will.

Bibi Rajni is a touching and emotional watch for audiences who enjoy meaningful, faith-based cinema. Roopi Gill delivers a sincere performance in the title role, supported by strong veteran actors, and the film’s period setting, soulful presentation, and uplifting message make it a memorable Punjabi drama about the power of belief.
